This position is suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys creating scalable tools, enabling self-service capabilities, and delivering secure solutions for technical and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping modern internal platforms, connecting enterprise systems, and supporting practical use of AI-assisted development in a well-governed environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCreate and enhance internal web applications and platform capabilities using modern front-end, back-end, and database technologies, including React, Python/FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.\nDevelop reusable frameworks, starter templates, and guided tooling that allow business-focused technical users to build lightweight applications within defined governance standards.\nDeliver and maintain integrations, file exchange processes, and other essential software solutions that support day-to-day business operations.\nIntroduce self-service features that streamline common requests, reduce manual support work, and improve efficiency for internal users.\nConnect applications with enterprise authentication and authorization services while enforcing role-based access and appropriate user permissions.\nEstablish controls such as audit trails, lifecycle oversight, and security guardrails to support compliant and well-managed internal software.\nWork closely with engineering, IT, and security partners to ensure solutions align with technical standards, risk requirements, and production expectations.\nContribute to architectural planning and advocate for development approaches that prioritize scalability, maintainability, and secure implementation.\nSupport the responsible adoption of AI-enabled development capabilities to improve application delivery for both technical and non-technical users.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.\nAt least 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering roles.\nStrong hands-on experience with React, Python/FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.\nBackground building internal platforms, workflow automation tools, developer tooling, or low-code application solutions.\nExperience integrating applications with enterprise identity providers and role-based access control models.\nSolid understanding of secure software engineering practices, including auditing, governance, least-privilege access, and compliance considerations.\nProven ability to build or support integrations with third-party systems and enterprise business applications.\nStrong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. ®\n\nRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
