The ideal candidate will bring technical know-how and an innovative mindset to the role and help drive our industry.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.\r\nPositions parts according to the work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit.\r\nRegulates machine for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.\r\nJoins together two pieces of steel or aluminum by heating to a temperature high enough to cause proper fusion.\r\nAssures that the fit, function and cosmetics are at or exceeds Rogers/StageRight quality expectations.\r\nRemoves BBs and any other weld imperfections from surface of products.\r\nRecords all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and documents all information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.\r\nImplements and completes all welding and related tasks assigned by team leaders and crew leaders.\r\nMaintains all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free, and healthy work environment.\r\nConfers with team leaders and crew leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production, inventory, or customer service issues.\r\nAttend training for welding, fabrication, and safety.\r\nAdditional duties may be assigned as required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :\r\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\r\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\r\nAt least one (1) year welding experience.\r\nBlueprint and welding symbol knowledge preferred.\r\nMust possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.\r\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\r\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret the English language.\r\nAssociates must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.\r\nREASONING ABILITY:\r\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints.\r\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur in the daily fabrication process.\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\r\nFrequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.\r\nMust be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.\r\nAbility to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.\r\nCapable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.\r\nAdditional Job Information:\r\nThe environment is active and fast-paced.
