We are hiring for a Substance Use Disorder Treatment Residential Coordinator What we're looking for: Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology or related field 2 years post master’s experience with population Must obtain a SA Counselor Credential within thirty (30) months of hire Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Excellent timeframe management, multi-tasking skills What you'll be doing: Direct management and supervision for the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Residential Program Coordinate, Collaborate and Communicate with internal and external resources to assist clients Provide supervision of residential staff responsible for oversight of all SUD residential program operations Responsible for ensuring staffing is adequate to maintain 24/7 hours of operation with residential staff on site, managing overtime cost and the budget Ensure incident reports are accurate and timely submission of reports, timely review/disposition of referrals, timely assessments for placement in the residential continuum Provide job coaching, follow up and progressive discipline when required Ensure training is up to date, attend required meetings and participate in performance improvement activities Provide direct clinical supervision, consultation and services as needed Monitor & ensure documentation compliance on a regular basis Monitor & ensure productivity expectations are met Interview, select and provide performance expectations to new staff, PRN staff ensuring performance, documentation & training requirements are met Provide performance improvement documentation, disciplinary documentation, verify timesheets, information in electronic timekeeping system, assist with the coordination of leave requests and other managerial duties as assigned Provide Crisis Intervention as necessary Ensure residential programs meet and/or exceed AL DMH Administrative Code Review placement requests and availability of beds Provides effective clinical assessment of the client Utilizes assessment data to support a DSM V diagnosis Formulates appropriate treatment plan along with client and families, as appropriate Provides individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing basic therapeutic models and theories according to client needs as stated in the treatment plan Demonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation Effectively collaborates with the treatment team members and outside sources in the delivery of clinical services Evaluates the client for discharge planning or movement to a less restrictive environment Participates in crisis intervention and overseeing on-site client visitation facility-wide Adheres to professional code of ethics Effectively demonstrates the application of adult specific competencies Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team working with residential clients Ability to perform duties as a Residential Worker, Therapist or other position as needed Receive and address client or staff complaints in a timely manner Other duties as assigned by the Division Director, Chief Clinical Officer or CEO.
