Production Associates will also be responsible for following all safety procedures.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nActively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule.\r\nEnsure safety standards are maintained at all times.\r\nSetup and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications.\r\nTroubleshoot problems throughout production run.\r\nChecks and assures box quality, including, but not limited to lose liner, warp, correct size, and print.\r\nAdhere to production schedule. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Production Lead.\r\nPerforms job in a safe, efficient and productive manner, while maximizing the utilization of equipment at available capacity and speed.\r\nTrain and assist assistant and helper with job duties on the machine.\r\nComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.\r\nTurn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.\r\nFollows all company, local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations.\r\nOther tasks as assigned\r\nRequirements/Qualifications\r\nEducation:\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred\r\nExperience:\r\n1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment\r\nAbility to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.\r\nPrevious experience in a CORRUGATED manufacturing / production environment\r\nPrevious experience with cycle counting preferred\r\nForklift Experience a plus\r\nProven ability to work SAFELY adhering to all safety processes and policies\r\nAbility to work a flexible schedule on occasion to support operational and business needs\r\nSpecific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities\r\nStrong written and oral communication.\r\nOrganization and attention to detail.\r\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nTime management.\r\nSystems analysis.\r\nMathematical and deductive reasoning.\r\nCritical thinking.\r\nWork Environment/Physical Demands\r\nPhysical Demands:\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and communicate with team members.\r\nThe employee frequently is required to use hands, reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.\r\nThe employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds.\r\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.\r\nWork Environment:\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to ambient temperatures. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
