Responsible for the successful execution of beverage operations within the established operational standards. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.\n\nEssential Job Functions and Responsibilities\n\nManages the day-to-day operation of beverage service on assigned shift\n\nResponsible for successful operation of VIP Rooms\n\nEnsures that all beverage products served meet the established specifications and standards\n\nCommunicates variances from established standards to the Beverage Manager\n\nEnsures the minimum level of labor is used to perform the required level of service\n\nCompletes the required daily financial tools and reports\n\nExecutes and audits beverage inventory and cost control systems and procedures\n\nSolicits guest feedback by direct interaction and comment cards\n\nActs immediately on any guest complaint to ensure corrections are made and the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee invocations are made\n\nEnsures all service equipment is handled safely and with reasonable care, reporting mechanical problems to proper department\n\nConducts the service education program; coaches, reinforces, and leads personnel in the proper performance of their duties\n\nUnderstand and administers the performance appraisals, sets performance expectations and provides coaching and provides operational support for all beverage employees\n\nEnforces all appearance and uniform guidelines and all regulatory, internal controls, policies and procedures\n\nMay be involved in cash transactions, either as a breaker or as a replacement for the regularly scheduled cashier, during day-to-day activity\n\nPerforms duties of Food Supervisor and Kitchen Supervisor as necessary\n\nOutstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort\n\nProvides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.\n\nMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.\n\nAttends all necessary training meetings.\n\nAssist in other projects, as directed.\n\nDuties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.\n\nQualifications/Requirements\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.\n\nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.\n\nHigh school graduate or equivalent with some college background preferred\n\n2 to 4 years beverage experience including technical experience in beverage service business required\n\nMust possess good customer service, employee relations and leadership skills, and have good analytical abilities\n\nMust present a well-groomed and professional appearance.\n\nMust possess excellent communication skills.\n\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.\n\nAbility to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.\n\nMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.\n\nMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.\n\nMust be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.\n\nWork nights, weekends and holidays as required.\n\nEmployment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening\n\nPhysical, Mental and Environmental Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
