They manage a team that is accountable for planning, design, implementation of all infrastructures to support the work required of corporate projects. The position manages the relationship with application portfolio teams and business units to assure all needs are being met in a timely manner and are ultimately responsible for successfully delivering all engineering teamwork associated with a portfolio. Additionally, they manage systems dependencies and integration point. The role is also a liaison to the business units for operational issues and forecasting for production systems and associated capacity planning.Interface: Identifies and leads functional team to solve technical, operational and organizational issuesReviews and is responsible for departmental budgets and resource allocationsDevelops departmental tactical plans to support technical and operational strategyPartners with various functional teams across the IT departments to support strategic enterprise vision and designDelivery/Support:Participates in problem management processes to determine root cause of failures and improve performance and reliability of systems and networksLeads functional team to ensure high quality, timely delivery of key infrastructure milestones to support corporate projectsImproving delivery through automation, forecasting, and capacity planningPrepares, gains alignment on and delivers automation plans to improve speed and accuracy of delivery of infrastructureReview and approve all plans for production deployment of corporate projectsLeads a team that then delivers the production deploymentIT Process Management and Administrative:Deliver a detailed technology training plan to their staff which takes in to account all engineering teams specialtiesAccountable for administrative management of Information Technology Engineering professionals in the Microsoft SharePoint and MS Project spaceDefine, prioritize, allocate resources, track and provide status reporting of work assignments, projects, programsEnsure IT engineering process disciplines (solution delivery, project management, work requests, QA, etc.) and standards are effectively managed and performedProvide information and periodic updates to support departmental IT performance metrics, monthly project status reporting and quarterly resource planning reviewTechnical Infrastructure & Systems Integration Expertise:Managing complex system integrations and interdependenciesOverseeing infrastructure engineering for corporate projectsReviewing/approving production deployment plansUnderstanding performance, capacity planning, and operational reliabilityOrganizational Effectiveness / People:Provide leadership by ensuring department and individuals goals are metManages talent utilizing HR supplied recognition tools and participates in workforce planning, staffing, and developmentParticipates in assessing and recommending improvements to the organization structure, roles and responsibilitiesResponsible for individual performance assessments and improvement plansResponsible for coaching, counseling, assisting employees to develop individual career development and training plans QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology Management or relevant field of study 7+ years professional experienceExperience working with diverse programs and portfolios in a large-scale capacity focusing on network infrastructure, including hardware refresh deployments and new build projectsTeam management experience (5+ years preferred)Background in service delivery at an enterprise level, comfortable with reporting projects to senior leadershipMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat’s Needed To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)Master's degreeExperience in travel industry project managementExperience with: Clarity, Jira, SharePoint, Teams, financial tools, Excel, Project, SmartsheetCertification in project management (PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent)AWS Cloud Practitioner certification The base pay range for this role is $140,600.00 to $183,108.00.The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
