They work on projects of varying size and complexity and are known for their collaborative approach, strong project execution, and commitment to quality from pre-construction through completion.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Estimator with a strong background in concrete construction estimating. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing budgets, analyzing project costs, and supporting successful project delivery through effective coordination with internal teams and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete construction projectsReview project plans, specifications, and bid documentsDevelop and manage project budgets and cost projectionsPrice project changes, change orders, and scope revisionsCoordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teamsMonitor project costs and maintain quality and scheduling expectationsAssist in pre-construction planning and bid preparationMaintain organized estimating documentation and reportingQualificationsMinimum 5 years of estimating experience in concrete constructionStrong knowledge of cast-in-place concrete projects and construction estimating practicesExperience with estimating and construction management softwareExcellent communication and coordination skillsStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilitiesHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsPrevious experience within concrete contracting or related construction environments requiredBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAbility to commute to Apex, NCPreferred TraitsAbility to work in a fast-paced construction environmentStrong understanding of project budgeting and cost controlTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionallySelf-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
