The selected candidate will contribute to the development of a new Registration, Interview Center, and Eligibility System, working on the design, development, maintenance, and support of mission-critical web applications.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain software components and web applications using Microsoft technologies.\r\nDevelop visual interfaces and web services using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC 3 or higher, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, Minimal API, Angular, PrimeNG, jQuery, and MS SQL Server.\r\nPerform code development, unit testing, source code management, build management, integration testing, and deployment.\r\nCollaborate with software engineers and technical leaders to understand subsystem and component specifications and recommend improvements.\r\nWork with industry and government representatives to understand and recommend data interchange formats, APIs, messaging strategies, application server software, hardware, and virtual machine requirements.\r\nDesign and document subsystems and system components.\r\nImplement, debug, and test software subsystems and components.\r\nParticipate in integrated testing on test and production servers.\r\nCommunicate the impact of system-level decisions on subsystems and components.\r\nDefine and communicate component requirements and capabilities within the overall system architecture.\r\nSupport the team's technical infrastructure, including repositories, build systems, and testing systems, under guidance from project leads.\r\nShare technical knowledge within the organization and mentor junior software development engineers.\r\nWork collaboratively with the team to ensure successful project delivery.\r\nContribute to the delivery of the Economic Services Re-Engineering project.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBS degree or equivalent work experience.\r\n7+ years of experience independently designing and implementing medium- to large-scale software systems and components using .NET architectures.\r\n5+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing SQL databases as part of the overall application architecture.\r\n5+ years of experience developing web-based software systems utilizing N-tier architectures, dynamic content, highly scalable approaches, and complex security models/implementations.\r\n2+ years of experience with Angular.\r\nExperience with\r\nMicrosoft Visual Studio\r\nC#\r\nASP.NET\r\nASP.NET MVC 3 or higher\r\n.NET\r\n.NET Core\r\nASP.NET Core Web API\r\nMinimal API\r\nMS SQL Server 2016\r\nTeam Foundation Server (TFS)\r\nIIS\r\njQuery\r\nSSRS\r\nWCF\r\nEntity Framework 6\r\nResponsive Design\r\nAngular (PrimeNG)\r\nAngularJS\r\nAbility to communicate software design and implementation decisions, including strengths, weaknesses, and rationale.\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical staff, customers, stakeholders, and other State IT staff.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience designing and developing Economic Services Eligibility applications (SNAP/TANF).\r\nExperience with Agile software development.\r\nMicrosoft Development Certifications.\r\nWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future\r\nHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
