As a Lockheed Martin employee, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in an environment that values integrity and excellence.By managing high-risk subcontracts and leading multifunctional teams, you will directly ensure the successful delivery of critical DOD and international programs, upholding national security through supply chain excellence.THE WORKResponsibilities include: Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification, and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD, and international programs. Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams. Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and develop evaluation criteria. Analyze and evaluate proposals and negotiate subcontract provisions, including price. Select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, and prepare awards. Administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity. Oversee supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
