You'll follow detailed work instructions and drawings to build products that meet strict quality, safety, and customer requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble mechanical components, hardware, and subassemblies according to drawings, MPIs, and work instructions.\nInstall fasteners, brackets, enclosures, connectors, and other mechanical hardware to specified torque and alignment requirements.\nPerform mechanical fit-up, alignment, and basic adjustments to ensure proper function and appearance.\nVerify part numbers, quantities, and materials against BOMs and travelers prior to assembly.\nConduct in-process and final visual inspections to ensure assemblies meet workmanship and quality standards.\nAccurately document work performed and record completion of operations in travelers or production systems.\nIdentify defects, missing parts, or discrepancies and escalate issues to leads, supervisors, or quality personnel.\nFollow ESD, safety, and housekeeping standards at all times.\nMaintain tools, fixtures, and workstations in clean and working condition.\nSupport rework or repair activities as directed.\nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts related to quality, efficiency, and ergonomics.\nQualifications\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required).\nTechnical training or coursework in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.\nExperience\n1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related production environment.\nExperience working from drawings, travelers, and written instructions.\nElectronics manufacturing or high-reliability assembly experience preferred.\nSkills\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.\nStrong manual dexterity and attention to detail.\nComfortable using hand tools, torque tools, and basic measuring equipment.\nAbility to identify workmanship issues and follow corrective instructions.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nDependable, organized, and quality-focused.\nBenefits\n401(k) with company match\nMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance\nPaid time off\nCareer growth opportunities in advanced electronics manufacturing\nSchedule\n8-hour shift, Monday–Friday\nOvertime and weekends as needed\n\nITAR/EAR Compliance: Due to the nature of the work performed at Rocket EMS, this position may require access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
