The Lead will be responsible for on-site supervision, cost and schedule control, quality assurance, safety compliance and coordination with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects on time, on budget and to specification. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, equipment and contract administration.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead day-to-day site supervision and field execution of landscape construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, to specification, and on schedule.\nDevelop, maintain and track project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6; coordinate sequencing with owners, contractors and trades.\nManage project budgets and cost control: monitor labor, equipment and material costs, process invoices, and recommend corrective actions to meet budget targets.\nRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and construction documents; review design intent and provide constructability feedback to design teams.\nPrepare and review RFIs, change orders and submittals; manage the change order process and maintain accurate documentation.\nCoordinate procurement and supply chain activitiesorder long-lead items, track deliveries and resolve material shortages or substitutions.\nSupervise subcontractors and craft personnel, setting expectations, monitoring performance, and enforcing quality and safety standards.\nOversee concrete formwork, rebar placement, steel erection, masonry, carpentry and related landscape structures.\nDirect excavation, grading, soil testing, drainage installation and compaction processes; verify compliance with geotechnical recommendations.\nManage heavy equipment operation and crane activities on site, including crane signaling and safe lift coordination.\nCoordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC interfacing work where applicable to landscape structures and site utilities.\nConduct layout work using Total Station and other surveying tools; verify elevations, grades and as-built conditions.\nImplement and enforce safety programs, prepare site-specific safety plans and ensure OSHA compliance.\nMaintain project documentation including daily reports, progress photos, as-built records, punch lists and close-out packages.\nUse BIM, AutoCAD and Revit for coordination and to review model information as needed.\nPerform quality control inspections and lead corrective action to resolve defects and ensure project acceptance.\nFacilitate permitting processes and ensure compliance with local building codes and IBC requirements.\nServe as point of contact for owner representatives, architects, engineers and inspectors on site issues and project progress.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 2 years of progressive landscape or site construction experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.\nProven experience with cost control, estimating, budgeting and contract administration on landscape or site projects.\nProficiency with project scheduling tools (MS Project and/or Primavera P6).\nHands-on experience with concrete formwork, rebar, steel erection, carpentry, masonry, excavation, grading and soil testing.\nExperience supervising heavy equipment operations and crane lift coordination; certified signal person preferred.\nStrong blueprint reading skills and experience with shop drawings, RFIs and change order management.\nFamiliarity with BIM workflows and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience producing or reviewing as-built documentation.\nWorking knowledge of permitting processes and building codes (IBC and local), and the ability to coordinate inspections.\nDemonstrated ability to develop and implement site safety plans; OSHA 10 or 30\nExcellent subcontractor management, communication and leadership skills.\nProven ability to manage material procurement and supply chain coordination to meet project milestones.\nValid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites; ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.\n\nBenefits\n\nPaid Time Off (PTO), Health/Dental Insurance, Year-Round Work, Career\n\n - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
