In this role the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all facets of Fleet Operations including asset tracking and maintenance, shop maintenance and parts inventory control, fuel conservation, safety, productivity, environmental management and financial performance. Additionally, the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the management of a team of Fleet Technicians.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of direct reports; ensure team is adequately staffed, managed, trained and evaluatedImplement and monitor preventative maintenance programs; ensure all maintenance and repairs are performed in a cost-effective mannerGenerate capital refurbishment schedule based on need and available capital fundingEnsure that all vehicles are appropriately prepared for transfer or disposal as neededEnsure proper disposal and documentation of waste stream itemsEnsure accuracy of documentation generated by employees for all maintenance activitiesManage parts inventory and ensure the shop is stocked appropriatelyManage within budgetary and operational guidelinesEnsure fleet is maintained in accordance with establish Federal, State and company standards for safety and complianceMaintain and enforce standards of health, safety, hygiene and securityMake recommendations and implement processes to improve the overall productivity, quality and safety of fleet operationsJob RequirementsClass A Commercial Driver's License preferredClass A Mechanic Certification preferredHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent requiredAssociate's degree or higher in Automotive Management, Fleet Operations Management or related field preferred3-5 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance or related field requiredPrevious supervisory experience preferredExtensive automotive and mechanical knowledge requiredKnowledge of DOT, MOT and CVIP compliance and PM programsBasic technical knowledge and working experience with SAP preferredBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have the ability to occasionally lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reachValid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelinesBenefits & PerksEligible employees may have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, life insurance, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, scholarship opportunities, and more.*Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on position, location, employment type, and union governance.Background VerificationEmployment with Coke Northeast is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background verification.
