This is Weekend Shift only role.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRead, follow operate production equipment\nWork at different workstations as production needs require\nMeet productivity and quality goals while maintaining line balance\nMaintain clean and orderly workstation\nUse and read measuring devices, i.e., rulers, calipers, micrometers, thermometers, gauges, etc. and perform self-inspection on all process steps\nCommunicate problems to supervisor or lead\nCommunicate the need for production operating supplies\nParticipate in improvement activities related to process or safety\nComplete required basic production, health, safety and environmental hazard training courses\nResponsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance\nProficient in and ability to demonstrate basic computer skill set. (i.e., use of MS Word, Excel, etc.)\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:\nTechnical diploma or equivalent; 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nOTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:\nAbility to read and comprehend / interpret equipment operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, documentation, and/or memos\nAbility to write clear / legible / accurate data and correspondence\nAbility to present, effectively within a group and/or individual setting, information to peers and/or management representatives.
