It’s fast, modern, and extensible, letting developers build any site or app. We’re building the platform for the next 100 million sites.We’re growing quickly and looking for a founding engineer to own major parts of the product.This is a rare, high‑upside role with the opportunity to shape the company and product.What you’ll doOwn core product surfaces: Visual designer, site rendering, content modeling, publishing workflows, and extensibility primitives.Ship AI capabilities: Integrate and iterate on LLM-driven design/edit flows and agent tooling.Build the foundations: Design clean APIs, SDKs, and extension points that enable third parties (and us) to build on Wirechunk.Drive performance & reliability: Profiling, caching, and observability to keep sites fast and stable.Set engineering standards: Testing strategy, code quality, security, CI/CD, and pragmatic processes for speed without chaos.Collaborate: Work directly with the founders and customers; translate ambiguous problems into shipped product.Shape the team: Help interview and influence the early engineering culture as we grow.How we workWe ship in short cycles and have few recurring meetings. We value autonomy, ownership, and responsibility. We maintain exceptionally high standards. And we improve relentlessly through direct, low-ego feedback.CompensationComp is designed for builders who want real upside. You’ll start with a profit share (a percentage of gross profits) plus meaningful equity.
