About the role
Responsible for running MOCVD growth reactors to produce GaAs expitaxial wafers (HBT, pHEMT, biFET, biHEMT) that conform to specifications. Accountable for maintaining the reactor in a manner that optimizes production yield, product quality uptime. Participates in multi-disciplinary teams in support of research or manufacturing/process related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review product/customer specifications for accuracy and manufacturing feasibility
Create or modify reactor recipes for calibration and production
Review and interpret characterization data
Monitor statistical process control charts
Track status of critical reactor parameters and source levels
Schedule maintenance and participate in system troubleshooting
Review and disposition production lot records
Create internal and customer quality control data packages
Conduct failure analyses and prepare corrective action
Track system manufacturing metrics including yield and tool utilization reports
About you
Experience Requirements for the Process Engineer:
Advanced experience in Process Engineering or equivalent manufacturing field.
7+ Years experience in Process Engineering or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or knowledge is desirable.
Reactor (MOCVD, MBE) process knowledge.
Must have experience with SPC and recipe editing.
Experience with reactor maintenance is a plus
Qualification Requirements for the Process Engineer:
Qualification or 2-Year/Associate’s technical degree in Engineering or equivalent, physics, materials science, or related technical field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
