This role ensures secure credential management, privileged access controls, secrets management, and automation capabilities that align with mission security and compliance requirements. The Software Engineer shall serve as the SME for the tool's technologies running on Linux systems and shall collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux Suite of Tools\nExperience developing scripts using Bash/Python\nRecent software development experience using Python and Java\nStrong background in Linux administration such as RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu\nHands-on experience implementing or supporting at least one Delinea product (e.g., Secret Server, Privilege Manager, DevOps Secrets Vault)\nUnderstanding of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), certificate-based authentication, and security best practices\nExperience troubleshooting system-level issues in distributed environments, including logs, services, networking, and authentication\nFamiliarity with API-based integrations, RESTful services, and secrets automation in CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStack\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and associated secret‑handling patterns\nExperience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence\nExperience supporting enterprise security tools or working in a cybersecurity-focused software engineering role\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
