Representative will also be expected to assist with other PD programs and take part in all aspects of trials which includes planting, thinning, scouting, evaluating, etc.\n\nLocation(s): Salinas, CA\n\nAreas of Responsibility:\n\nWork directly with Sales Team\n\nDevelop and Execute Trialing Program\n\nComputerize and distribute all trial maps in a timely basis\n\nMonitors all trials and provide clear report to salesmen on status of trials\n\nEvaluate all trials & communicate with sales department\n\nDevelop Season review report\n\nAssists in developing planting guides with pictures and descriptions\n\nManage Inventory of all trial seed\n\nAssist other departments as time permits\n\nTravel to other Production locations for work as needed\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n2 or 4 year degree in a related field to agriculture (crop science etc.) or 2-3 plus years of experience in similar field. A combination of education and experience will be considered\n\nDirect experience in farming or harvesting Spinach/Springmix is preferred\n\nAbility to resolve issues effectively in a professional and timely manner\n\nAble to evaluate/analyze data accurately and consistently\n\nHighly computer literate and experience Microsoft family of software\n\nBi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred\n\nStrong verbal, written and communication skills\n\nAbility to manage a variable work schedule around the crop needs\n\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence\n\nMust have a clean DMV driving record\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nAbility to travel to farming production areas throughout the US with the majority of travel on the west coast. This will include travel to Yuma, Arizona during the Season.
