Incident Response Engineer
Job Title: Incident Response Center Analyst (Data Center / Facilities) Type: Full-Time | OnsiteOverviewSeeking a proactive Incident Response Engineer to support Data Center operations. This role focuses on monitoring systems & facilities (70%) and incident management & escalation (30%), ensuring operational stability, safety, and security.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitoring (Facilities & Infrastructure)Monitor Data Center alerts (Client, power, cooling, environmental, generators, UPS, etc.)Identify issues and assess severity/impactEscalate to appropriate teams (Facilities, Engineering, Ops)System & Security MonitoringMonitor IDS, access control, network, server, and application alertsPerform initial investigation and incident classificationAct as first line of response for operational issuesIncident ManagementServe as primary POC for alerts and incidentsCoordinate communication across teams (engineering, facilities, NOC)Ensure proper escalation, tracking, and resolutionReporting & ImprovementsDocument incidents (timelines, impact, resolution)Identify trends and recommend improvementsSupport monitoring tools/process enhancementsBasic Qualifications3+ years in NOC, SOC, command center, or 24 7 operationsExperience triaging multiple alerts in real-timeKnowledge of Data Center systems (Client, UPS, cooling, power)Basic networking knowledge (servers, LAN/WAN)Strong communication skills + attention to detailAbility to work independently in high-pressure environmentsPreferred QualificationsData Center or critical infrastructure experienceFamiliarity with tools: Lenel, Avigilon, Grafana, Genetec, AMAG, etc.Experience with security/monitoring platforms (Client, VMS, IDS)Relevant certifications (Data Center, security, incident response)
