Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered\nDescription:\n\nA contractor position interfacing directly with the Client's Environmental Technologies Division Engineering Measurements & Controls group with the purpose of contributing to and developing software and algorithms for processing imaging data. This work supports the inspection and production of CET products.\n\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\nWork closely with the measurements group to develop approaches for data manipulation to assist with production and quality feedback.\nDevelop software and image processing algorithms for inspection technology.\nTransfer technology from early-stage development to a product suitable for use in manufacturing.\nCreate/update documentation for release to production for applications and procedures.\nTrain engineering, maintenance and operations people how to use and maintain developed applications and procedures.\nProvide remote and onsite troubleshooting using data and performance analysis of the deployed applications.\nTravel Requirements:\nNone\nRequired Education:\nBS degree required, prefer advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, EE, ECE or Optics.\nRequired Experience/Skills:\nProgramming ability (C# & Python strongly preferred)\nUnderstanding of Object-Oriented Programming and other software architecture concepts\nKnowledge of image processing algorithms (blob analysis, edge finding, morphology, feature extraction, classification, metrology) Client's Restricted\nData retrieval, plotting and analysis\nStrong communication and presentation skills (MS Office programs)\nDesired Experience/Skills:\nExperience with image processing development packages such as Halcon or OpenCV\nAbility to train CNNs and utilize traditional machine learning methods\nKnowledge of statistical analysis approaches and MEE concepts\nAbility to interface with Database Management Systems\nExperience with Metrology, Inspection and Product Quality in support of manufacturing\nOptical measurements system development (optics, lighting, cameras, image acquisition, image analysis, laser, 3D measurement)\nFundamental knowledge of physical optics (principles of optics)\nSoft Skills:\nAbility to interact effectively with customers & coworkers as well as work independently.\nYou will need to be results oriented, a quick learner and be able to multi-task effectively\nAbout us: DivIHN, the 'IT Asset Performance Services' organization, provides Professional Consulting, Custom Projects, and Professional Resource Augmentation services to clients in the Mid-West and beyond.
