NevGold offers exploration geologists the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in well-established mining jurisdictions.Role Description The Exploration Geologist supports drill execution, data integration, and target generation at NevGold’s properties. The position splits time between field operations on-site and the Reno, Nevada office, and reports to the Senior Geologist.QualificationsRequired• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related geoscience field.• 1–5+ years of exploration or mining geology experience.• Hands-on RC and/or core logging experience.• Experience coordinating drilling and field contractors.• Strong understanding of Carlin and/or epithermal mineral systems.• Experience with with geologic-modeling or GIS software.• Physically capable of field tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs.)• Valid driver's license and ability to operate 4WD vehicles in remote terrain.• Eligible to work in the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesDrill Support & Execution• Work safely around drilling contractors and heavy equipment and mitigation of potential hazards• Oversee drilling contractors, monitor field safety and daily operational progress.• Log RC and core samples for lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure.• Ensure QA/QC sampling and data-management protocols are followed.• Produce daily drill summaries and geology reports.• Contribute to weekly summaries and press-release materials.Modeling, Data Integration & Targeting• Build and update 3D geological models in Leapfrog from lithology, geochemistry, and structural data.• Generate cross-sections and 2D exploration maps in Leapfrog and ArcGIS.• Refine the evolving exploration model(s)• Develop new drill targets using structural, lithological, alteration, and mineralization controls.WORKING CONDITIONS & POSITION DETAILS•   Full-time position based in Reno, Nevada.•   Field rotation matched to drill-rig schedule (on-site/off-site) during active drilling programs.•   Standard Monday–Friday office schedule, with additional hours during active drilling.•   Fieldwork in Western United States (currently in Nevada and Idaho)
