At ACDi, we’re more than just a contract manufacturer.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Quality Control Inspector will perform inspection of electronic components, sheet metal fabricated items, printed circuit boards and hardware to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Others duties may be assigned.\nPerform inspections on first article, incoming, in-process and final products by confirming product meets applicable IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and IPC J-STD-001 workmanship standards, internal requirements, and customer documents, such as assembly drawings and bill-of-materials (BOM)\nPerform AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement and solder joint defects\nConduct visual and measurement tests\nDocument and communicate rejections of unacceptable items as required in a timely manner\nMaintain accurate records of inspections\nGenerate interdepartmental forms/reports such as corrective action reports, scrap reports, non-conformance reports and any other required quality records\nPerform internal manufacturing process audits as directed by the Quality Manager\nInteract with the purchasing department around non-conforming product dispositions\nAssist with receiving and stockroom functions to include the receipt, stocking and pulling of material\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nSPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
