This role works closely with carriers, warehouse teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries, accurate documentation, and optimal freight performance. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in controlling freight costs, maintaining service levels, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nTransportation & Freight Management\nCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel, air, ocean as applicable).\nSchedule pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance.\nNegotiate rates and assist in managing carrier relationships.\nAudit freight invoices for accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies.\nTrack shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues.\nSupport RFP processes and carrier bid events.\nOperational Coordination\nWork closely with warehouse and fulfillment teams to align shipping schedules with production timelines.\nEnsure proper documentation for all shipments (BOLs, packing lists, export documents, etc.).\nMaintain accurate shipment records in ERP/TMS systems.\nMonitor freight KPIs including cost per shipment, on-time delivery, and claims ratio.\nInventory & Compliance\nManage freight claims and damage reports.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.\nSupport cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed.\nCost Control & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities in shipping methods and carrier selection.\nAnalyze freight data to identify trends and recommend improvements.\nAssist leadership in forecasting freight budgets and tracking spend.\nDrive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).\n2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.\nExperience in warehouse or fulfillment environments strongly preferred.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills.\nLabor Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
