The Machine Operator oversees key aspects of Packaging, driving initiatives that uphold our commitment to excellence and strategic objectives. This position demands a leader who can integrate operational goals with our core mission, enhancing our services' effectiveness and the opportunities provided to individuals with disabilities.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop and implement strategies that ensure operational activities align with ReadyOne's cultural behaviors of accountability, diversity, honesty, collaboration, empathy, innovation, passion, and effective communication.\nAdhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes.\nMust keep machine running at required speed.\nMonitor and start/stop machine as necessary.\nMust be able to perform minor adjustments to machine.\nMust be able to understand and follow work order instructions.\nResponsible for quality of the product.\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation: High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.\nExperience: One year of experience running corrugated machinery.\nSpecific Skills: English/Spanish proficiency. Must be able to follow instructions\nSpecialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: None required\nOther Skills and Abilities: None\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a loud manufactory work environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
