Success in this role requires strong delivery leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to resolve issues within the constraints of work sold.\n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\nProject Leadership\nProvide execution oversight for assigned project portfolios, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, quality, and financial expectations\nOwn portfolio-level financial management, including budgets, EACs, cash flow, and margin performance\nLead monthly project reviews and ensure accurate, timely EAC reporting to Finance\nServe as the primary escalation point for project delivery issues and customer concerns\nAssign projects to PMs and resolve resourcing conflicts across concurrent work\nActively manage a ~50% personal project load, typically higher-complexity engagements\nEnforce PMO standards and ensure consistent, high-quality project reporting\nParticipate in proposal reviews when requested to assess delivery risk and feasibility\nContribute to PMO leadership initiatives and continuous improvement efforts\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop team of Project Managers, including one-on-ones, performance reviews, and training\nTeam members embrace and demonstrate Vertech’s culture and core values.\nTeam members maintain technologically current and relevant skillsets.\nTeam members are consistently and meaningfully engaged by management, enjoy working at Vertech, and feel valued, successful, and hopeful in their positions.\nWork with HR on team development, performance, reviews, and staffing levels.\nSuccessfully onboard and incorporate new hires into the Vertech structure\nParticipate in the hiring process for establishing team fit.\nUnderstand the technical and soft-skill developmental opportunities for each team member.
