This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in building automation systems, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.\r\nKey Responsibilities Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.\r\nOversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.\r\nMaintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.\r\nIdentify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.\r\nObtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.\r\nReview and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.\r\nTrack and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.\r\nMaintain accurate project records, including milestones, billings, SoV, and documentation within DivPro.\r\nAssign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.\r\nReview and approve weekly timecards for Controls Technicians.\r\nApprove and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for each project.\r\nProvide monthly project updates, including billing and financial reporting, to senior management.\r\nQualifications 2+ years of experience in construction project management.\r\nStrong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.\r\nTechnical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.\r\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.\r\nAbility to build and maintain strong client relationships.\r\nStrong organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.\r\nProficiency in project management software and documentation tools.\r\nPhysical Requirements Ability to travel frequently to job sites by car or plane, up to 85%\r\nAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods\r\nAbility to climb ladders, stairs, and lifts as required\r\nAbility to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in tight or confined spaces\r\nAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials up to 50 pounds\r\nManual dexterity to handle tools, wiring, and small components\r\nAbility to work at heights and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions\r\nAbility to wear and work in personal protective equipment when required (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots)\r\nVisual keenness to read schematics, labels, and digital displays\r\nAbility to visually identify and differentiate wires by assigned color\r\nAbility to hear and respond to alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions\r\nCapability to safely operate hand and power tools\r\nDivcon does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies.
