We're not just constructing solar solutions—we're powering a sustainable future.Primary FunctionSenior Project Engineer – Remote with Travel (as required)Key ResponsibilitiesManage engineering & design, overseeing all consultants across project phases and ensuring compliance and timely delivery.Review technical drawings, maintaining project timelines, accuracy, and site‐layout risk analysis, including medium‐voltage interconnections.Provide construction support, ensuring designs are implemented effectively in the field.Make trade‐off decisions on cost, schedule, and performance to meet project objectives.Collaborate with Business Development, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on permitting and technical analyses.Lead RFI resolutions, review submittals, and support weekly construction calls.Coordinate engineering activities across internal and external teams, reducing ambiguity and risk.Approve equipment drawings, ensure constructability, and review designs for code compliance; provide technical support for procurement of new PCS, BESS, PV inverters, and MV transformers.Build and manage relationships with vendors and consultants.Train and support construction teams on technical issues.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering (discipline preferred but not required).5–7+ years' experience in solar project engineering or a similar field.Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of the National Electric Code.Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, including making sound decisions with incomplete information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating technical concepts for non‐technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and switch contexts quickly.Experience building and maintaining long‐term, trusting relationships.Software/tools expertise: AutoCAD, PVSyst, Excel, Smartsheets, ProCore, SiteTracker, etc.Certifications & CredentialsNABCEP certification (plus).Professional Engineer (PE) license (plus).Background & Drug TestApplicants being considered for hire must pass a background check and drug test before beginning work.
