You will not be chasing random pet projects by an over-the-shoulder CEO, this is the senior role and technical lead for the pod, so this individual must thrive with autonomy, and be able to self-prioritize the projects that matter most. You own the technology that powers our post-sales operating model and establish the shared architectural foundation your pre-sales counterpart builds on.A GTM Engineer at ECI identifies the operational bottlenecks that slow our business down, then builds the AI, automation, and workflows that eliminate low-value work - freeing our teams to focus on the moments where human expertise creates the most value.A major part of the role is architecting how we best engage existing customers, which includes our scaled Customer Success motion: introducing an AI-native approach capable of supporting thousands of accounts. We'll buy best-in-class platforms where it makes sense and build what doesn't exist.Beyond Scaled Customer Success, you'll identify repetitive work across Account Managers, Customer Success, Retention & Renewals, Professional Services, and Support, then automate it through workflows, AI agents, and system integrations. Your goal isn't to replace these teams - it's to multiply their capacity. You'll partner closely with our post sales leadership to help protect and grow a 25,000-customer base without scaling headcount linearly. All of this with an eye on the full customer lifecycle and end-to-end system that is our GTM engine. What You'll DoBuild the scaled CS engine: agentic workflows that read health signals (usage, tickets, billing, sentiment) and trigger the right move, from a digital nudge to an AI interaction to a human handoff. We'll buy some of the tooling; you build the rest. Agentify the monotony. Find the repetitive, manual work eating our CSMs, retention and renewals reps, and Support, and hand it to agents you build. This is core to the role, not a side project. Turn raw data into signals that score accounts, catch churn early, and flag expansion. Ship AI for routine motions (renewals, onboarding check-ins, low-touch QBRs) and keep the plumbing between Salesforce, our AI vendors, and our channels solid. Help build and iterate our account health scoring models. Build the metric layer post-sales runs on: NRR by tier, churn risk, SLA adherence, agent performance. Lead the GTM Engineering pod. Own the shared foundation both engineers depend on (the common data and signal layer, the Salesforce object model, AI vendor integrations) and the pre-to-post handoff where expansion and churn signals cross the line. Set the standards, review the work, and bring the pre-sale engineer up as they build. Requirements7+ years in RevOps, CS Ops, or GTM engineering, including time as the senior builder others leaned on. You don't just buy software, you build it. You're comfortable working with APIs, data models, AI automation platforms (which you can help select), and writing code when needed to connect systems or build internal tools. You know the economics of B2B SaaS cold: health scoring, churn, NRR. You know the traditional CS frameworks and you're more interested in building the AI-native version. You've set technical direction for other builders before, whether or not it came with the title. This is a blank canvas. You'll map messy manual workflows across legacy verticals, find the automation, and ship, all while keeping the wider system coherent. If you want a finished machine to maintain, this isn't it.
