Line Cook (Seasonal)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to the overall dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to execute menu items efficiently and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help train and mentor new kitchen staff as needed. Participate in catering events as required, assisting with food preparation and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the dietary department or kitchen environment. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and commitment to quality meal preparation.
