This developer will be responsible for building and delivering production-grade transactional microservices on AWS using Java 17, Spring Boot, ECS, Aurora PostgreSQL, SQS FIFO, EventBridge, and Kafka (MSK). The role will focus on replacing legacy on-premises middleware with a modern cloud-native architecture that processes approximately 4 million events per day. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java microservices, AWS, SQL optimization, and event-driven systems, and is comfortable developing scalable, high-performance applications, implementing automated testing, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
