They prepare the trees for removal, trimming, and rigging operations, operate tools and equipment to safely lower branches, and orchestrate tree removals of all sizes and degrees of difficulty that could incorporate various rigging systems. This skilled job requires at least one year of professional tree-climbing experience.\nResponsibilities:\nDemonstrates and performs pre-climb tree risk inspection\nUses industry-standard climbing techniques, climbing gear, and basic rigging\nMoves throughout a tree canopy without the use of climbing spurs, instruction, or supervision\nMakes proper cuts aloft in a tree while following all safety standards\nSafely and efficiently uses hand tools and power tools while aloft in a tree\nWorks with a team while maintaining a good attitude and keeping pace with the crew\nWorks a full day with the crew and is willing and able to handle all tasks of tree care within their expertise and qualifications\nFollows safety guidelines. Safety is our #1 DONE\nOther duties as assigned by the supervisor\nQualifications:\nOne year of climbing experience required\nPassionate about tree work, service, and people\nA team player who enjoys working with others\nUnderstands that their success is ultimately dependent on that of their teams\nProficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, and some Excel\nDemonstrates high attention to detail and focuses on getting the job done\nPossesses strong organizational skills and can effectively prioritize needs (solid multitasker)\nOutdoor enthusiast!
