This position supports Boise Centre's administrative and operational functions by ensuring that records, reports, invoices, event information, and other data are entered and maintained accurately and in a timely manner.\nThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working with large amounts of information while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The Data Processing Clerk works closely with internal departments to ensure that information is complete, up to date, and readily accessible.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nEnter, update, verify, and maintain data in company databases, spreadsheets, and other computer systems.\nProcess and organize event-related information, records, forms, and documentation.\nReview data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency and correct errors as needed.\nPrepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, logs, and administrative records.\nAssist with processing invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and other financial or operational documentation.\nOrganize electronic and physical files and maintain an efficient records-management system.\nRetrieve and compile information for internal reports and management requests.\nAssist with tracking event schedules, client information, equipment, supplies, and other operational data.\nVerify information received from various departments and follow up on missing or inconsistent information.\nMaintain confidentiality of company, client, employee, and financial information.\nAssist with data reconciliation and identify discrepancies for appropriate follow-up.\nScan, upload, label, and organize documents within designated electronic filing systems.\nRespond to routine information requests from employees, clients, and other authorized individuals.\nProvide administrative support to the Operations, Event Services, Finance, and other departments as needed.\nFollow established data-entry procedures, company policies, and quality-control standards.\nAssist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious data entry, clerical, administrative, or office experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nGood organizational and time-management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.\nAbility to learn and use databases, scheduling systems, and other software.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to handle confidential information professionally.\nAbility to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience in hospitality, event management, convention centers, hotels, or a similar service-oriented environment.\nExperience with event-management, accounting, database, or document-management software.\nPrevious experience processing invoices, event records, customer information, or operational documentation.\n\nKey Skills and Competencies\n\nAttention to Detail: Consistently identifies errors and maintains accurate records.\nOrganization: Keeps information, files, and tasks organized and easily accessible.\nData Entry: Enters information quickly and accurately while maintaining quality standards.\nTechnology: Comfortable learning new software and working with spreadsheets and databases.\nCommunication: Communicates clearly and professionally with coworkers and other stakeholders.\nConfidentiality: Handles sensitive information responsibly and appropriately.\nProblem Solving: Identifies discrepancies and takes appropriate steps to resolve them.\nReliability: Consistently completes assigned work accurately and on schedule.\nTeamwork: Works cooperatively with multiple departments to support Boise Centre's operations.","company":"Boise Centre","rawCompany":"boise centre","city":"Ashburn","state":"VA","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-09-06T13:29:03.969Z","occupations":[{"code":"43-9061.00","title":"Office Clerks, General","slug":"office-clerks-general"},{"code":"43-9021.00","title":"Data Entry Keyers","slug":"data-entry-keyers"},{"code":"43-4199.00","title":"Information and Record Clerks, All Other","slug":"information-and-record-clerks-all-other"}],"industries":[{"code":"561499","title":"All Other Business Support Services","slug":"all-other-business-support-services"},{"code":"561110","title":"Office Administrative Services","slug":"office-administrative-services"},{"code":"561410","title":"Document Preparation Services","slug":"document-preparation-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Data Processing Clerk","description":"The Data Processing Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, organizing, maintaining, and processing company and event-related information.
