The Winterization Operator is accountable and responsible for the processing of Winterized oil, meeting established quality and customer specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up and perform changeovers on cleaning line equipment to support efficient production.\nClean and sanitize production lines between product runs and after each completed run.\nReview product specifications and configure machinery to meet production requirements.\nInspect production lines and surrounding work areas to ensure cleanliness and remove any obstructions.\nMonitor product line components, labels, and machine settings, and report quality concerns to the supervisor.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and distinguish between material defects and equipment malfunctions.\nMonitor and adjust production equipment to maintain safety, quality, and production efficiency.\nComplete all required production paperwork accurately at the end of each product run and workday.\nMeet or exceed established production goals while following quality and safety standards.\nCross-train and assist in other production areas as needed.\nServe as the backup for the CPLT Operator in their absence.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality, or a related production environment.\nSkills and Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nMechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.\nBasic mathematical skills.\nAbility to read, write, and speak English for recordkeeping, safety, and quality training.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nBasic computer skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nStrong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.\nCertifications/Licenses\nForklift operating experience preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of lot numbering systems.\nExperience operating production equipment in a food manufacturing environment.\nPrevious experience performing equipment troubleshooting and changeovers.\nWorking Conditions\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time, including up to 8-hour shifts.\nFrequent bending, reaching, climbing, and other physical movements throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work overtime and weekends as needed.\nWork is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment and noise.\nFood Safety Policy:\nAdams Group is committed to producing and distributing high quality products through adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
