This position will assist with creation of budgets, budget management, financial analysis and guiding technology investments while overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.\n\nEssential Functions:\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nProduce accurate and timely financial statements at the end of each month.\nMaintain strong systems and controls that:\nProtect the assets of the Company.\nEnsure Corporate policies are followed.\nWarn of potential losses due to theft or mistakes.\nPlan and report reliably the cost and margin of products and customers.\nTake an active role in controlling costs and cash flow.\nWarn of impending revenue/operating income shortfalls to budget and forecast and take an active role in driving solutions.\nFormulates internal controls.\nAccurate financial planning – budgets, forecasts, etc.\nAnalysis of actual results versus budgets and goals.\nReview all contractual obligations.\nSupervise and provide backup, as required, for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.\nPerforms other duties as assigned to support the organization.\n\nCompetencies:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, professional journals, and governmental regulations.\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers.\nAbility to develop metrics to monitor business performance and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.\nAbility to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a variety of situations.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nAbility to work well with others.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Duties include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\n\nWork Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
