With a collaborative mindset and a hands-on approach, you take initiative in supporting both administrative processes and employee-facing responsibilities.Duties/ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screenings, interview coordination, and ongoing candidate communication. Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and maintain alignment throughout the hiring process. Utilize diverse recruitment channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals) to attract qualified candidates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the Applicant Tracking System and monitor hiring workflow progress. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate sourcing strategy effectiveness and ensure a positive candidate experience. Prepare offer documentation and support transition into onboarding processes.Employee & Labor Relations Support site leadership in applying company policies and handling employee relations matters. Serve as the primary HR advisor on labor relations and ensure compliance with employment and labor laws. Conduct or support workplace investigations, document findings, and assist managers with corrective actions when needed. Promote positive employee relations and support company culture through ongoing colleague interaction and training.Onboarding, Offboarding & Compliance Execute all onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientations, documentation collection, system updates, and exit interviews. Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant employee records, ensuring completion of all required employment documentation (e.g., I 9, E Verify, certifications). Support internal HR audits and ensure adherence to company standards and legal requirements. Collaborate with safety and site leadership on incident reporting, workers’ compensation follow-up, and return to work coordination.HR Administration Manage timekeeping for the site and assist with benefits, payroll, and workers’ compensation administration. Coordinate all travel requirements for local team members, including transportation and accommodations. Process employee travel expense reports and reimbursement claims accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, attendance, recruitment KPIs) for leadership.Required Skills And Abilities Knowledge of ATS and HRIS Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Computer knowledge and experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook Perform any other related tasks required to support the HR function and site operations.Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. 3–5 years of experience managing high‑volume recruitment in the manufacturing sector.Our benefits at MankatoYour advantages at a glance.
