QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support incoming material inspections, in-process quality verification, and final product inspections within our manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials, components, and finished goods meet BE&SCO Manufacturing quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing inspection priorities and maintaining quality accuracy. Key Responsibilities Inbound InspectionInspect incoming materials, components, and parts against purchase orders, drawings, and specificationsVerify quantities, dimensions, and condition of received itemsIdentify and document non-conforming materialsTag, label, and segregate rejected or questionable materialsCommunicate discrepancies with Material Control, Purchasing, and Quality teams In-Process & Final InspectionPerform in-process inspections on the manufacturing floor as neededConduct final inspections prior to shipment when requiredVerify product quality, completeness, and adherence to specificationsSupport quality checks throughout production processes Quality Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate inspection records and quality documentationRecord and report defects, discrepancies, and inspection resultsTrack recurring quality issues and communicate trendsAssist in maintaining organized and audit-ready inspection documentation Cross-Functional Operational SupportCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Material Control departmentsSupport vendor-related quality concerns through documentation and reportingAssist with corrective actions and root cause investigationsProvide quality-related operational support as needed Safety & Work EnvironmentFollow BE&SCO Manufacturing safety policies and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection areaReport unsafe conditions or quality risks immediately Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1-3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsExperience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsBasic computer skills for documentation and reportingAbility to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment PreferredManufacturing or industrial environment experienceExperience with ERP systems or quality documentation softwareFamiliarity with inbound inspection and material control processesBilingual in English and Spanish Work EnvironmentManufacturing and warehouse-based environmentFrequent interaction with production, warehouse, and engineering teamsExposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesOccasional overtime may be required based on operational needs Physical RequirementsRegular standing, walking, and movement throughout the facilityFrequent use of hands for handling tools, materials, and inspection equipmentAbility to occasionally lift materials or packages up to 50 poundsVisual acuity required to inspect parts and identify defects Compensation & Benefits Starting at $18.00/Hour Work Location In person 200 Lombrano St. San Antonio, TX 78207 Schedule Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
