Provide objective feedback, make recommendations on issues as appropriate for both individual employees and managers.\nCounsel employees and management by interpreting company culture, values and policy, and employment law promptly and accurately.\nMaintain current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations; maintain legal documentation.\nMaintain broad understanding of data relevant to HR area(s); manages reporting requests and interprets data for others.\nWork with management to help draft and supply updated and useful information such as reports, relevant policies, and/or disciplinary documents.\nActively source and recruit, interview, and hire employees.\nSupport Human Resources training efforts.\nWork independently using initiative to propose solutions to problems.\n\nThis job might be for you if:\nYou possess a B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources or related field\nYou have a minimum of four years experience within Human Resources or a related field\nKnowledge of employment law and legal hiring practices and procedures\nExcellent listening, interviewing and interpersonal skills\nStrong analytical ability and problem resolution skills\nSkills in investigating and successfully resolving Employee Relations situations\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data\nDemonstrated ability to handle/prioritize tasks\nAbility to work independently within a team environment\nYou possess proficient knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with an HRIS system and processes\nIt would be nice if you have:\nPHR/SPHR and/or SHRM certification\nHR Generalist Experience\n\nLocation\nPullman, WA- This position is located in Pullman, WA.
