This role's north star is pointed at ensuring that the store is customer-ready at all times. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.\r\nVisual Leader\r\nOversee and support execution of key operational and visual processes\r\nChampion strong visual standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance data\r\nLead strategic product presentation and merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and making visual merchandising change in accordance with directive and partnership of General/Store Manager\r\nEffectively plans Visual floor changes through payroll management and adapting visual support to the needs of the business.\r\nOwn visual direction from planning through executing to meeting company expectations, budgets, timeline\r\nUtilizes reporting tools in partnership with management to identify business opportunities with product placement, outfitting, and stock levels. Makes changes as necessary\r\nBusiness Leader\r\nRepresent the business in meetings and on conference calls, in partnership with General/Store Manager\r\nReview, Monitor and partner with General Manager to manage the budget, reporting and other business data; including metrics (e.g. Expenses, Sell-Thru) and inform planning processes (e.g., quarterly business review and sales planning)\r\nFuture planning workflow business needs to protect optimal performance\r\nPeople Leader\r\nEnsure that the Visual team exudes ALO's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our guests who we are, what we do and why we do what we do\r\nLeads a team through accountability, continuous coaching, development of talent, and elevating effective communication throughout the Operations and Visual team\r\nEstablish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategy\r\nFlow Experience Leader\r\nOversees the execution of deliverables on sales floor, achieving KPI's, while protecting operational efficiency and visual sets\r\nCollaborates and implements General/Store Manager's vision and work cross-functionally with business partners, as directed, to support organizational goals and to achieve visual and sales floor KPI's\r\nDemonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand culture\r\nVisual Manager Qualifications\r\n3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience\r\nWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)\r\nExtraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written\r\nAgile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment\r\nIndependent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability\r\nAligns with and embodies ALO's Guiding Principles\r\nRequires constant movement in and around all areas of store\r\nAbility to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds\r\nAbility to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder\r\nAbility to stand and move for an entire shift\r\nVisual Manager Schedule\r\nTo build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends.
