{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8f6b4e5c7b4b79fb89071bb7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8f6b4e5c7b4b79fb89071bb7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8f6b4e5c7b4b79fb89071bb7","title":"Application Integration Architect","description":"Position DetailsTitle: Application Integration ArchitectLocation: Plano, TXDuration: ContractWork Mode: Onsite (DFW Local Preferred)In person interview in final roundWe welcome candidates with all U.S. work authorization types, provided they are legally authorized to work in the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign secure, scalable, and maintainable application and integration architectures for Third-Party SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and cloud-native solutions.Partner with Product Owners, Technical Leads, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders to define target-state architecture and solution roadmaps.Develop end-to-end solution designs covering application architecture, data flows, APIs, event-driven integrations, security, and operational requirements.Evaluate Buy vs. Build strategies considering architecture fit, implementation effort, cost, scalability, and long-term maintainability.Define reusable integration patterns using REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, Kafka, ETL pipelines, and workflow automation.Assess Third-Party SaaS platforms, vendor capabilities, and product roadmaps to align with business and compliance requirements.Maintain enterprise architecture artifacts including logical, deployment, security, integration, and current/target-state architecture diagrams.Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, code review guidance, and engineering best practices across development teams.Collaborate with security teams to implement Identity & Access Management (SSO, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC), RBAC/ABAC authorization, and compliance controls.Support architecture governance activities including Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling.Guide Scrum teams during backlog refinement, sprint planning, development, testing, and production releases.Create and maintain technical documentation, solution blueprints, interface catalogs, architecture standards, and reusable design patterns.Required Skills8+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in Enterprise Solution Architecture.Proven experience designing end-to-end solutions integrating Third-Party SaaS applications, enterprise applications, and cloud platforms.Strong expertise designing REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, Event Streaming (Kafka), and enterprise integration patterns.Experience with iPaaS/ESB platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or Azure Integration Services.Strong understanding of API lifecycle management including versioning, throttling, security, and governance.Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, storage, compute, and managed cloud services.Experience implementing Identity & Access Management using SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and RBAC/ABAC authorization models.Experience designing solutions for regulated environments with compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.Experience participating in Architecture Governance, Architecture Reviews, Risk Assessments, Threat Modeling (STRIDE), and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and solution documentation skills.Preferred ExperienceExperience supporting Risk, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Fraud, or Learning Systems domains.Experience designing cloud-native event-driven architectures using Kafka and microservices.Knowledge of ETL pipelines, workflow automation, and enterprise data integration.Experience leading architecture governance boards and enterprise modernization initiatives.TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Architecture certifications are a plus.Strong mentoring skills with the ability to guide engineering teams on architecture best practices and reusable solution patterns.We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
