This position is also responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCore duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nEstimates and orders foodstuffs, liquors, wines, or other beverages, and supplies.\n\nAdjusts customers' complaints concerning service, food, and beverages.\n\nInspects establishment and observes workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations.\n\nPlans and arranges promotional programs and advertisements.\n\nHires entertainers.\n\nServes as a backup bartender if several other staff members are out.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDirectly supervises employees in the Bar. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
