Clinic Nurse ManagerThe Clinic Nurse Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for both clinical and administrative functions at Health Care Partners of South Carolina. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while managing daily site operations, including nursing staff and front desk personnel. As a leader at Health Care Partners of South Carolina, you will drive performance in clinical quality measures, patient access, and regulatory compliance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & QualitySupervise, mentor, and evaluate nurses and Medical Assistants (MAs) to ensure evidence-based nursing care.Oversee clinical quality initiatives, including HEDIS measures and Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting.Ensure the clinic remains compliant with HRSA Health Center Program Requirements and OSHA safety standards.Administrative & Front Desk ManagementDirectly manage Front Desk Staff, overseeing patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification (Medicaid/Medicare/Private).Monitor and optimize patient flow from check-in to check-out to reduce wait times and improve the patient experience.Ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation and adherence to "sliding fee scale" protocols.Operations & Financial StewardshipDevelop and manage the departmental budget, including labor costs and supply inventory.Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for all direct reports.Act as the site's primary point of contact for facility maintenance and vendor relations.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and compliance requirements.QualificationsExperience:3+ years of clinical nursing experience plus 2+ years of supervisory experience.Education, Licensure & Skills:RN degree (BSN preferred) from an accredited programActive and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional de-escalation skills and the ability to work with diverse, underserved populations.Physical Requirements & Technical ProficiencyPhysical RequirementsMobility: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift) and move quickly throughout the clinic.Manual Dexterity: Sufficient grip and fine motor skills to operate medical equipment and perform clinical tasks such as injections or wound care.Lifting: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and assist in the positioning or transfer of patients.Visual/Auditory: Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus; must be able to hear alarms and communicate clearly in a busy environment.Environmental: Frequent exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids; must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for long durations.Accommodation: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Technical & Systems ProficiencyEHR Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Electronic Health Records is highly preferred for managing clinical documentation and front-desk workflows.Data Reporting: Ability to navigate population health tools and dashboards to monitor UDS and HEDIS performance metrics.Office Technology: Competency in the Microsoft 365 SuiteRevenue Cycle Awareness: Basic understanding of medical coding (ICD-10/CPT) and insurance clearinghouses to support front-desk accuracy.
