We're currently seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to join our growing Utilities Team and help tackle complex engineering challenges.\n\nPosition Overview\nAs a Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and play a key role in business development and staff mentorship. This is a prime opportunity to advance into a leadership role within a dynamic and successful engineering firm.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, wells, boosters, reservoirs, gravity sewer mains, lift stations, force mains, and odor control systems.\nManage programs and master planning for water and sewer systems.\nDevelop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.\nCoordinate with clients, design teams, internal staff, and external resources throughout the project lifecycle.\nProvide technical guidance to engineers, EITs, and technicians.\nMonitor project performance and ensure quality control of deliverables.\nSet up project accounting and budget tracking systems.\nPrepare invoices and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.\nConduct QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with standards.\nMentor junior staff and support career development.\nCollaborate with marketing and business development teams to pursue new opportunities.\nParticipate in proposal development and client interviews.\nAssemble and manage project teams, including sub-consultants.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic planning.\nRepresent Dibble at industry events and conferences.\nNote: Responsibilities may be adjusted by management as needed.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nProficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.\nStrong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple high-value projects simultaneously.\nStrategic decision-making and resource management capabilities.\nDeep understanding of project budgeting and scheduling.\nExcellent communication skills across all levels-clients, engineers, technicians, and subconsultants.\nProven ability to negotiate profitable contracts.\nDetail-oriented, dependable, and client-focused with a proactive mindset.\nCommitment to Dibble's mission and values.\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.S. required).\nMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferred.\nAt least 3 years of direct project management experience.\nRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona or ability to obtain within 6 months.\nValid Arizona driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.\n\nABOUT DIBBLE\nFounded in 1962, we provide a full range of civil engineering services to public and private sector clients across Arizona, Colorado, and the Southwestern United States.
