Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Director located in North Canton, OH. The Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of the museum, including strategic planning, team management, budgeting, fundraising, and community engagement. Responsibilities also include leading staff and volunteers, ensuring the care and preservation of collections, cultivating donor relationships, and representing the museum to stakeholders and the public. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to successfully fulfill the museum's mission. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills to oversee staff, volunteers, and museum operationsExperience with strategic planning, budget management, and fundraising effortsStrong communication and public relations skills to represent and promote the museum to diverse stakeholdersBackground in event planning, community engagement, and partnership developmentKnowledge or experience in aviation history, museums, or non-profit management is a plusBachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, History, or related disciplinesAbility to work on-site in North Canton, OH, and a passion for preserving and sharing aviation history
