We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, respond to operational incidents that impact service availability, and carry out routine network, server hardware, and operating system repairs to contribute to the overall availability of AWS services.\n\nServe as a primary contact point for both internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.\n\nPerform on‑call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.\n\nContribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.\n\nHelp interview, train and onboard new team members.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nLifting and moving material up to 40 pounds each.\n\nWorking in cramped and/or elevated locations.\n\nBending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.\n\nStanding and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.\n\nAscending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.\n\nWork Environment\n\nWork shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (covering both night and day shifts).\n\nSupports data centers in various operational stages.
