The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.\nResponsibilities:\nThe work offers flexible hours.\nProvide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.\nKey Requirements:\nTo be considered for this position you must have the following:\nPossess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.\nProfessional/Education experience: Five (5) years of experience software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.\nA Masters Degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.\nU.S. Citizenship.\nWorks well independently as well as on a team.\nStrong communication skills.\nCloud Developer Certification is required.\no AWS Certified Developer-Associate\no AWS DevOps Engineer Professional\no Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)\no Elastic Certified Engineer\n(Possession of a Cloud Developer certification is required and will be verified as part of the interview or offer process.)\nDesired Skills:\nAnalytic development experience using scripting languages such as Python and Scala to use statistical libraries against data\nSkilled with big data processing frameworks such as Pig, MapReduce and Spark to scale algorithms over large volumes of data\nExperience employing combination (2 or more) of analysis, computer science, mathematics, and software engineering skills to devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets\nExperience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and data mining\nSkilled with data flows, Pig scripting, Hadoop MapReduce, and various analytic tools\nSkilled working with development and SE teams, other stakeholders agencies, and leadership\nKnowledge of data indexing and analytic development\nExperience working with cloud service providers and data stewards\nDemonstrated experience in network metadata processing, manipulation, and analysis in support of intelligence analysis\nLocation: Annapolis Junction, MD\nSalary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $230,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications.
