Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.Main Responsibilities:Providing patient care, developing pharmacy counseling skills, and actively participating in clinical servicesBuilding OTC knowledge and delivering well developed recommendationsRefining communication and leadership skills to assure effective interactions with patients and the pharmacy teamGaining foundational pharmacy knowledge for future successWe are looking for candidates who possess the following:Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptorComplete all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies and proceduresOffer advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health related products and concernsParticipate in a diverse range of experiences to develop your skills as a pharmacistSpend 4 days per week at pharmacy in workflow and 1 day in structured interactive meetingWhat we are searching for:Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacyMust have an active pharmacy license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standingCertified Immunizer RequiredAbility to work a variety of schedulesAvailability to participate in a 7-week program40 hours per week for 5 weeks and 32 hours during two holiday weeksWe also provide a variety of benefits including:Competitive WagesAccess to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with StreamLeaders invested in your training, career growth & developmentHealth and welfare benefits for eligible employees (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)A copy of the full job description can be made available to you.
