Our preference is to hire a Federal Sales Account Manager who has recent working knowledge and current relationships with Federal Customers.Basic Qualifications/Skills:Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelinesFollows a selling processResponsible for booking business per the company bookings policies and revenue recognition policyUnderstand the customer's business and how our products impact their businessDevelops strong relationships and coaches in the accountsDevelops a pipeline of 4X quota and is constantly prospecting in new or existing accountsConsistently calls at multiple levels high and wideWorks collaboratively with Sales Engineers to ensure ongoing account technical support.Follows company strategy and directionLive in the Washington DC areaPreferred Qualifications/Skills:10 + year's sales experience in computer networking and network security software sales8+ year's experience selling into Federal Customers5 + year's sales experience in Network Performance Management or Network Security solutionsA quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory/professional growthTrack record of opening new accounts as well as selling into existing customersAn overall understanding of our technology, market, and client profileTrack record of exceptional funnel build and quota achievementDrive to succeed, established customers and contacts, and territory knowledgeYou will need the skill to independently, work with large, complex accountsAbility to source, pursue and close new businessBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related degreeWorking at NETSCOUTAt NETSCOUT, our vision is to create a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. This range represents NETSCOUT's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary within or, in some cases, outside this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
