{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8f227e082e286c4b39b3429a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8f227e082e286c4b39b3429a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8f227e082e286c4b39b3429a","title":"Process Engineer III","description":"Summary:\nSupport current manufacturing processes related to LTCC manufacturing including, but not limited to:\nDeveloping and refine LTCC fabrication processes including\nGreen tape handling\nVia punching and filling\nScreen printing (conductors, resistors, dielectrics)\nLayer stacking and lamination\nBinder burn-out and co-firing (sintering)\nOptimize furnace profiles to control shrinkage, warpage, and defects.\nEstablish/Update process document standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProgram, troubleshoot & maintain manufacturing process equipment as required as referenced in the summary section.\nSupport engineering initiatives in evaluating: print pastes, new equipment (installations) and recommends solutions both tactically and strategically.\nInitiate process improvements through effective evaluations of test/yield data and manufacturing defects and make adjustments to process equipment accordingly.\nCreate, present, and obtain approval for capital investment programs.\nWork with Production to develop and direct opportunities that affect revenues, costs and processes.\nPrepares and submits reports, as required.\nProvides guidance to machine operators/production employees and shows alternate methods of solving or preventing process, business, or technical problems.\nInteracts with other functional and business groups or with outside vendors.\nComplies with Environmental Health and Safety regulations.\nSupport and follow all ISO standards related to OnCore’s various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security.\nSupport all corporate and site 6S objectives.\nPerform all other duties, as assigned\nExperience/Education:\nB.S. in Engineering, Science or Math\n5, or more, years of contract manufacturing experience within the Electronics Industry\n3, or more, years of experience in: LTCC, HTCC, thick-film processing, or ceramic manufacturing\nExperience working within CFT (Customer Focused Team) Structure\nSkills/Knowledge\nKnowledge of ceramic substrate manufacturing processes, including tape casting, laser machining, screen printing, metallization, lamination, firing, and brazing.\nUnderstanding of technical documentation, manufacturing travelers, process specifications, and revision control requirements.\nFamiliarity with inspection techniques, dimensional measurement tools, and quality standards for ceramic substrates and microelectronic assemblies.\nKnowledge of cleanroom practices, handling requirements for ceramic materials, and ESD-controlled manufacturing environments.\nUnderstanding of defect identification related to ceramic substrates, including cracks, chips, delamination, metallization defects, and warpage.\nDue to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.\nBenefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
