{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8f2244a1c4853a5d32bd861c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8f2244a1c4853a5d32bd861c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8f2244a1c4853a5d32bd861c","title":"Process/Manufacturing Engineer","description":"Title: Process/Manufacturing Engineer\n\nLocation: On‑Site in Westminster, MD\n\nIndustry: Defense / Aerospace / Batteries\n\nSalary: 85,000 - 95,000\n\nQualifications\n\nB.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial)\n\n3-5 years in engineering or manufacturing environment\n\nSix Sigma Certification\n\nResponsibilities\n\nThis role supports the Battery Design Engineers as well as production support.\n\nEnsures processes are manufacturable with high quality and provides appropriate documentation and tools to the Operations team.\n\nImplements continuous process improvement projects focusing on cost reduction or output increase.\n\nCreates and maintains work instructions and standard operating procedures.\n\nWorks with Operations to train shopfloor employees.\n\nWorks with facilities and maintenance team to identify and implement equipment upgrades.\n\nTroubleshoots, solves and documents process, performance and equipment issues.\n\nConducts RCCA investigations for manufacturing/process issues.\n\nWorks with Battery Design and Mechanical Engineering to transfer new designs from development to production.\n\nMonitors key performance indicators (KPIs).\n\nSupports the proposed battery design process to ensure manufacturability.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)\n\nEffective written and verbal communication.\n\nAbility to collaborate with others.\n\nExcellent prioritization and time‑management skills.\n\nProficient in solving engineering problems through analysis, computational modelling, and building/testing of prototypes.\n\nExperience with PLC or similar equipment programming.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\n\nCAD modelling a plus.\n\nBenefits\nThe base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
