For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.\nAbout this role: The Materials Engineer designs and optimizes material flows, packaging, and replenishment systems at a Carrier manufacturing facility, supporting the operation with efficient, lean line-side presentation.\nKey Responsibilities: Designs material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.\nDefines packaging, containers, and material handling parameters.\nImplements pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.\nSupports warehouse design and logistics layouts.\nSupports NPI launches and production ramp-up activities.\nAnalyzes and optimizes inventory and flow.\nStrengthen warehouse optimization and line-side material presentation responsibilities.\nOwns inventory optimization, replenishment performance, and material flow efficiency.\nExpands expectations around data analytics and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree\n3+ years of materials-engineering or logistics-engineering experience.\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.\nPreferred Qualifications: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.\nExperience designing material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.\nWorking knowledge of packaging, containers, and material-handling parameters.\nExperience implementing pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.\nProficiency with design and analysis tools for logistics/flow. Experience supporting new production lines.\nKnowledge of Lean Logistics.\nProficiency with design and analysis tools.\nPay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.
