This role involves interpreting engineering drawings and instructions, programming machine controls, and performing thorough inspections of finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.\nKey Objectives & Responsibilities:\nProgram and set up CNC mills and lathes based on oral instructions, prints, and drawings\nEnter programs and all necessary parameters into machine controls of CNC mill and lathe\nPerform inspections of finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications\nComplete jobs independently with no supervision\nAchieve and maintain an advanced level of productivity\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nMinimum 3-4 years of experience\nAdvanced machining course or equivalent training\nMastercam + G code experience\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints\nAbility to operate CNC mills and lathes\nAbility to use inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and depth mics\nSkills:\nCNC programming and machine operation\nBlueprint reading and interpretation\nPrecision measurement and quality inspection\nProblem-solving and independent decision-making\nModerate reading comprehension for instructions and memos\nClear communication with supervisors and team members\nMathematical skills sufficient for programming and machine operations\nBasic PC operation and file management\nPhysical Demands: This role requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 80 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout a warehouse/production environment for extended periods.\nEmployment Type: This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
